Pilo

– The Re-Planter

The PILO brings an original yet functional solution to your kitchen for keeping and growing your herbs and small plants. By upcycling a complete bottle, cut in half, the PILO uses the larger part to contain the plants and herbs and the bottom part to catch any drops of water that might otherwise spill on your table, connected by a stylish wooden structure made by local artisans.

The paradigm of contemporary art – Nathalie Heinich
“In design as in art, the accompanying documentation is just as important as the works themselves. The conversations around the works determine the way they are used, and offers a way into understanding them. Hence, for the PILO, as with any upcycle design, the conversations, the documentation, even the photos, videos, etc., form an integral part of the work, because they explain its story, and the social responsibility aspect of the company and the brand.”
